\u00a0Billy&#8217;s mom stopped by to give our kindergartenscientists a demonstration on &#8220;density.&#8221; \u00a0You might have seen the Density Tower she made for our Science Fair Boot Camp. \u00a0It was even more amazing to watch her actually make it. \u00a0She carefully constructed a nine-layer density tower, using a variety of household items. \u00a0 \u00a0Ask your child, what was at the bottom of the Density Tower? \u00a0What were some of the liquids that Billy&#8217;s mom used? \u00a0What were some of the solids that she dropped in the tower? \u00a0Mrs. Schook did an incredible job and we all learned something new! \u00a0School starts one hour later.<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday is our PBIS Assembly. \u00a0All of Lindbergh&#8217;s kindergartners and Young Fives will be performing on stage at 10:15 a.m. \u00a0If possible, please have your child wear a yellow or white shirt along with some jeans. \u00a0Our performance is top secret so mums the word. \u00a0If you have any questions, please email me.<\/li>\n<li>Friday is popcorn day!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Important Dates to mark on your calendar:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thursday, May 1st, our Kindergarten vocal music concert from 6:30-7:00 p.m. Our outstanding music teacher, Mrs. Baloga, has really been working hard with our class for this performance. \u00a0You won&#8217;t want to miss it!<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday, May 14th, our last Kindergarten field trip. \u00a0This time our class will be participating in a pond study at U of M Dearborn- Interpretative Center. \u00a0Information will be sent home closer to the date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Have a great week!<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Wright<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Families, Today we had a Mad Scientist visit our classroom!
