Here is what you need to know for this week:<\/p>\n
Letter Books- we are studying the letter X x. \u00a0Since words that start with the letter X are rare, your child may find words that have the letter X anywhere in the word. \u00a0Such examples: \u00a0Max, \u00a0six, box, exit<\/p>\n
Spelling Pattern: \u00a0this week it has the “id” chunk \u00a0 \u00a0 bid \u00a0 did \u00a0kid \u00a0hid<\/p>\n
Individual Spelling Words: \u00a0each student has two of their own words to practice this week. \u00a0Please make sure they practice a few minutes each night while I will make sure they practice during the school day. \u00a0Your child’s Spelling Notebook needs to be kept in their Book Bag at all times.<\/p>\n
Wednesday is Pajama Day! \u00a0Your child may wear his\/her pajamas to school. \u00a0Please make sure they are warm enough to wear outside for recess. \u00a0They may bring in one stuffed animal if they would like!<\/p>\n
Field Trip Permission Slips are due by Monday, March 31, 2014. Let me know if you have any questions.<\/p>\n
Picture and or picture money is due! \u00a0If you haven’t turned it in yet, please do so.<\/p>\n
It sure was great seeing many of you at Lindbergh’s Science Fair Boot Camp. \u00a0I was impressed that 19 out of 20 students in our class came for this event. \u00a0Thanks to Leo’s grandpa for taking lots of pictures. If you took any pictures, I would love it if you could email them to me.<\/p>\n
Report Cards will be sent home this week.<\/p>\n
