Dear Families,<\/p>\n

We have a lot of things planned for this week!\u00a0 Here is what you need to know:<\/p>\n

Spelling Words:\u00a0 lip\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0hip\u00a0 \u00a0 rip\u00a0 \u00a0zip\u00a0 + one more “ip” word + your child’s individual words<\/p>\n

Please make sure that your child is practicing their individual words.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Although we practice spelling throughout the day at school, please make it a daily habit at home.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Leader in Me Habit 7:<\/strong>\u00a0 We will continue to work on Sharpening the Saw-Learning how “balance is best!”\u00a0 If you have any pictures of your family “Sharpening the Saw”\u00a0 at home, please send them in!<\/p>\n

Monday:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0We went to gym and art today. Homework will be sent home in your child’s red folder.\u00a0 For this week’s homework your child will be making a poster for Thursday’s Clean-Up Parade!\u00a0 Posters are due on Thursday!<\/strong><\/span>!!\u00a0 See details below!<\/p>\n

We will be previewing the book fair in the morning but no money needs to be sent in today.<\/p>\n

Tuesday:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 We will be taking the NWEA Reading Test today in the morning.\u00a0 Please make sure that your child comes to school well-rested. Return library books.\u00a0 \u00a0Music with Mrs. Baloga.\u00a0 Afterwards, we will do Spring Planting in the front of the school.<\/p>\n

Wednesday:<\/strong>\u00a0 We will be working with our Leadership Buddies today.<\/p>\n

We will check out a new library book from the Media Center.<\/p>\n

Thursday:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0Clean-Up Posters are due!!<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0We will be in the Lindbergh’s Clean-Up Parade at 1:30 p.m.\u00a0<\/span> For those of you who did not grow up in Dearborn, this is a long running event in Dearborn.\u00a0 The whole school will march down the streets and encourage neighbors to Clean up- Fix\u00a0 Up- Paint up!<\/h3>\n

Friday: <\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Students need to wear gym shoes.\u00a0 \u00a0 We will go to the computer lab with Mrs. Ackerman.<\/p>\n

Decades ago, Ms. Wright was marching in Dearborn’s Clean-Up Parades.<\/h2>\n
