Here is what you need to know for this week\u00a0 in our classroom:<\/p>\n

This week’s spelling words are:\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0hop\u00a0 \u00a0pop\u00a0 \u00a0top\u00a0 shop\u00a0 + 1 mystery “op” words +2\u00a0 individual words– Please make sure that your child is practicing all spelling words at home, especially their individual words. Although we practice spelling throughout the day at school, please make it a daily habit at home.<\/b><\/p>\n

Leader in Me Habit 5:<\/strong>\u00a0 We will\u00a0 continue to study\u00a0 Habit 5.\u00a0 \u00a0 Please practice this habit at home with your child.<\/p>\n

Poem of the Week:<\/strong>\u00a0 Super Star, Super Star<\/p>\n

Monday:<\/strong>\u00a0 This week’s homework will be sent home today- Making “op” words and practicing counting by 2’s to 30.\u00a0 Homework is due on Friday, March 9th.<\/p>\n

Tuesday:<\/strong>\u00a0 Your child will be taking their spelling test today on last week’s “ig” words<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Return library books.\u00a0 \u00a0Music with Mrs. Baloga.\u00a0 Our students have been busy rehearsing for the Kindergarten Music Concert that will take place on Thursday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m.\u00a0 Please mark your calendar, you won’t want to miss it!<\/p>\n

Wednesday:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 We will check out a new library book from the Media Center.<\/p>\n

Thursday:<\/strong>\u00a0 We will have music with Mrs. Baloga.\u00a0 We will have our PBIS reward today at 2:30 p.m.\u00a0 The reward is Game Day!\u00a0 Your child may bring a board\/card game to play.\u00a0 Make sure it is a game they already know how to play.\u00a0 Please make sure that your child’s name is labeled on the game.<\/p>\n

Friday:<\/strong>\u00a0Please wear gym shoes.\u00a0 We will go to the computer lab with Mrs. Ackerman.\u00a0 Homework is due!<\/p>\n
