\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Spelling: \u00a0since the spelling tests are going so well, I will be adding some sight words that are individual to your child. \u00a0We will start this tomorrow and write the words in their spelling notebook. \u00a0They will be tested on Friday. I am not sure how this is going to work, but we will give it a try. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Check out the March is Reading Month calendar for a variety of reading activities. \u00a0Today we had a Mystery Reader. \u00a0The students listened to the Mystery Reader on the speaker system and had to guess who was reading the story. \u00a0This week it was Ms. Donna from the cafeteria!<\/li>\n<li>Parent Readers- we love to listen to stories in our classroom, especially from family members! \u00a0During the month of March, contact me if you are interested in reading to our class. \u00a0You would bring your own favorite books from home, usually a couple that would last a total of 10-15 minutes. \u00a0In the past, readers came at arrival time (8:45 a.m.) and \u00a0right before dismissal time (3:15 p.m.) . \u00a0Leave a comment below, email me or put a note in your child&#8217;s folder to read our our class.<\/li>\n<li>Science Fair Boot Camp- it sounds like most of our scientists have started their experiments and are very excited to share what is happening to the alligators! \u00a0In class, we have completed the seven days of observing and measuring. \u00a0Today we started the Science Display Board. \u00a0I will put a picture on the blog tomorrow so you can see.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here are some tips that the Upper El students received that I thought might be helpful:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Don\u2019t glue until you have arranged everything. \u00a0 \u00a0* I learned this lesson today!!!<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Never write directly on the board.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Glitter glue should not be used.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Use colored border behind information. \u00a0( I have construction paper if you need it)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Cut straight!!!\u00a0\u00a0 Glue on straight!!! \u00a0 ( As straight as a kindergartner can!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Most of all, this should be fun and not stressful for anyone! \u00a0If you have questions, let me know. \u00a0No worries allowed!<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully this is all for now!<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Wright<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hip Hip Hooray, \u00a0It &#8216;s the 100th Day!
