Dear Families,<\/p>\n

I hope you are having a great day! \u00a0Here is what our busy week in kindergarten will look like:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

New spelling words (introduced on Tuesday): \u00a0the “ig” family– \u00a0big \u00a0dig \u00a0pig \u00a0wig<\/p>\n

This week’s poem:\u00a0I’m a Little Leprechaun<\/p>\n

Monday: \u00a0Please return your library book, Nightly Literacy Homework, Poetry Journal, Spelling Notebooks, and book bag. \u00a0Don’t forget we will go to gym and art today!<\/p>\n

Tuesday: \u00a0We will have our spelling test on the words: bad \u00a0dad \u00a0sad \u00a0mad + individual words. \u00a0 We will go to the Media Center to check out a new library book. \u00a0The students will be rehearsing for their music concert with Mrs. Baloga. \u00a0 I will be out in the morning to attend my last Math Academy workshop but will be back after lunch. \u00a0But most importantly, our kindergarten concert will be tonight at 6:30 p.m. \u00a0Please drop off your child in the hallway by our classroom at 6:20 p.m. so you can find a seat in the auditorium. \u00a0Unfortunately, my son’s music concert is at 7:00 p.m. so I will be there at the start of the concert. \u00a0Once the concert is over, you can pick up your child in front of their locker. \u00a0Mrs. Stetz and Mrs. Ruselink (I hope this is okay with you!:) will help with dismissal.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wednesday: \u00a0We will continue with our Earth Material Investigation #3 today.<\/p>\n

Thursday: \u00a0Kindergarten Field trip #3 is today \u00a0Thanks for all the parents who signed up to be a chaperone. \u00a0I was able to get enough theatre tickets for everyone who wanted to go.\u00a0 These are the parent chaperones that I have tickets for: \u00a0Levi’s mom, Ali’s mom, Enna’s mom, Dominic’s mom, MacKenzie’s mom, Aston’s mom, Olivia’s mom, and Jake’s mom. \u00a0Chaperones will need to report to our classroom at 9:00 a.m. \u00a0We will load the bus shortly after to arrive to the theatre. \u00a0The performance starts at 10:00 a.m. \u00a0Please make sure that everyone brings a bag lunch with drink, clearly marked with your child’s name on it. \u00a0Do not bring lunchboxes or water bottles that can’t be thrown away.<\/p>\n

Friday: \u00a0Today is Popcorn Friday! \u00a0We will go to the computer lab with Mrs. Ackerman and gym with Mr. Murua.<\/p>\n
