{"id":4053,"date":"2017-02-26T14:20:08","date_gmt":"2017-02-26T19:20:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/wrightt1\/?p=4053"},"modified":"2017-02-26T14:20:08","modified_gmt":"2017-02-26T19:20:08","slug":"week-of-february-27-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/wrightt1\/2017\/02\/26\/week-of-february-27-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of February 27, 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families,<\/p>\n<p>I hope you had a wonderful break! \u00a0How are you &#8220;sharpening the saw&#8221; today? \u00a0I went for a beautiful Sunday morning run. \u00a0Balance definitely feels best!<\/p>\n<p>Here is what you need to know:<\/p>\n<p>New spelling words (introduced on Tuesday): \u00a0cap \u00a0 map \u00a0 nap \u00a0 \u00a0 tap<\/p>\n<p>This week&#8217;s poem: \u00a0Orange Juice<\/p>\n<p>Monday: \u00a0Please return library books, Nightly Literacy Homework, Poetry Journal, Spelling Notebooks, and book bag. \u00a0Don&#8217;t forget we will go to gym and art today!<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday: \u00a0We will have our spelling test on the words: \u00a0rag \u00a0wag \u00a0 flag \u00a0tag \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 We will go to the Media Center to check out a new library book. \u00a0The students will be rehearsing for their music concert with Mrs. Baloga.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday: \u00a0We will attend the &#8220;Brainstormers&#8221; assembly in the morning. \u00a0Mrs. Bungee will be giving students\u00a02 individual spelling words. \u00a0In the afternoon, we will start our Earth Science unit called &#8220;Let&#8217;s Play Around!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Thursday: \u00a0The students will be rehearsing for their music concert with Mrs. Baloga. \u00a0We will have our PBIS reward in the afternoon. \u00a0In order to be invited to attend the PBIS Reward, your child will need to have stayed on green 80 percent of the time in the month of February. \u00a0That means that need to have stayed on green 12 times out of 15.<\/p>\n<p>Friday: \u00a0We will go to the computer lab with Mrs. Ackerman and gym with Mr. Murua.<\/p>\n<p>Have a great week!<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Wright<\/p>\n<p>Important Future Dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thursday, March 9th- Kindergarten Round-Up at 6:30 p.m. \u00a0If you know of any future Lindbergh Flyers ready to start Kindergarten in the fall, please pass on this date to them!<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, March 14th- Kindergarten Music Concert at 6:30 p.m. \u00a0If your child is not going to be in the concert, please let me or Mrs. Baloga know as soon as possible.<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday, March 15th- Late Start<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday, March 21st- Lindbergh&#8217;s Science Fair Boot Camp from 5:30-7:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families, I hope you had a wonderful break! \u00a0How are you &#8220;sharpening the saw&#8221; today? \u00a0I went for a beautiful Sunday morning run. \u00a0Balance definitely feels best!
