Dear Families,<\/p>\n

We had a great time at our Red Wing assembly this morning. \u00a0In fact, our very own Maggie got up on stage and won a Red Wing Water bottle!<\/p>\n

After the assembly, we turned in our hockey jerseys for our science lab coats. \u00a0I posed the question to the kindergarten scientists “which car will go down the ramp the fastest?” \u00a0The scientists got into small groups and made ramps out of blocks to observe and race the four different cars.<\/p>\n

Next, we tied in our Writer’s Workshop with the car race and wrote our opinions about which car would win the race.<\/p>\n

After lunch, we actually tested out the four cars in each of the four lanes. \u00a0And the winner was…….<\/p>\n

the green car! \u00a0It won every time! \u00a0Here are some of our\u00a0hypotheses:<\/p>\n
