<\/a><\/p>\nDonuts with Dads will take place on Friday, June 10th at 9:00 a.m. and will last about an hour.<\/p>\n
Here is what you need to know for this week:<\/p>\n
Letter books: \u00a0we will study the “ch” digraph. Your child will need to find 5 words that have the “ch” somewhere in the word. \u00a0It can be in the beginning of the word: \u00a0chocolate, cheez-its, chips ( I must be hungry!) \u00a0It can be in the middle of the word: \u00a0like in catcher. \u00a0It can be at the end of the word: \u00a0munch, beach. \u00a0Good Luck!<\/p>\n
This week’s Spelling words: \u00a0hot \u00a0not \u00a0got \u00a0pot \u00a0+ mystery “ot” word + individual words<\/p>\n
Monday: \u00a0Please bring your book bag, spelling notebook, and library book to school today. \u00a0Wear your gym shoes. \u00a0We will also go to art today.<\/p>\n
Tuesday: \u00a0We will go to music and the Media Center to check out new library books.<\/p>\n
Wednesday: \u00a0Mad Science today at 1:00 p.m. \u00a0We will continue with our Life Science Unit: \u00a0Living, Non-Living or Dead? \u00a0We will be comparing earthworms with gummy worms. \u00a0If you are available to help us, please let me know. However, you must feel comfortable around real worms! \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Thursday: \u00a0We will go to music today!<\/p>\n
Friday: \u00a0It is Popcorn Friday! \u00a0Each bag is 25 cents. Please return letter books. \u00a0Wear gym shoes.<\/p>\n
Writing: \u00a0This week we will be working on our Animal Reports. \u00a0This will take place during Daily 5. \u00a0Therefore, I will not be sending home leveled books in your child’s book bag this week. \u00a0However, please encourage your child to practice reading books in the book bag as well as reading on Raz-Kids.<\/p>\n
We will also be taking the District Writing Prompt this week.<\/p>\n
