Dear Families,<\/p>\n

We had an amazing time\u00a0at the Outdoor Adventure Center today! \u00a0A huge thanks goes out to Ruby’s mom, Yuan’s mom, Ali’s sister, Martin’s sister, Zach’s grandma and Jack’s dad for being chaperones on our field trip. \u00a0First the students went to a program called F is for Fish. \u00a0Here they learned about the different types of fish that lived in the Detroit River. \u00a0Ask your child about the different parts of the fish. \u00a0Take a look:<\/p>\n

After we ate lunch, the class had time to check out the Outdoor Adventure Center in small groups.<\/p>\n

Then we boarded the bus and went to \u00a0Arts and Scraps. \u00a0Here they made fish out of recycled materials. They also went shopping. \u00a0Yes, that’s why they came home with more stuff that they took with them. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Hope your child had as much fun as I did! \u00a0We have one more field trip planned this year for June 1st to U of M- Dearborn for a pond study. \u00a0Hope you can join us!<\/p>\n
