I am finally done with assessments! \u00a0I will start seeing your child in a small group for reading. \u00a0We will be collecting all the old books from your child’s book bag on Monday. \u00a0Please make sure that your child brings their book bag with all their books to school on Monday! \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Letters of the Week: \u00a0D \u00a0d<\/p>\n Spelling words: \u00a0at \u00a0 cat \u00a0 hat \u00a0 sat \u00a0(your child will be tested on these words only)<\/p>\n Monday: \u00a0Please return library books. \u00a0Wear gym shoes. \u00a0Letter books will be sent home today. \u00a0We will start spelling this week. \u00a0Your child will have their own spelling notebook which they\u00a0will keep in their\u00a0book bag. \u00a0We will be practicing these words during Daily 5. \u00a0Please also help your child practice spelling their words each night.<\/p>\n Tuesday: \u00a0Please return library books if you haven’t already done so. \u00a0We will have music with Mrs. Baloga and check out library books. \u00a0I will start seeing new reading groups today! \u00a0PTA meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.<\/p>\n Wednesday: \u00a0We will have our favorite guest teacher Mrs. Miller in our class.<\/p>\n Thursday: \u00a0Report cards will be sent home today. \u00a0Attached will be your child’s NWEA test score and a progress report. \u00a0Our PBIS reward is this afternoon. \u00a0We will be drinking\u00a0hot chocolate. \u00a0If your child is not allowed to drink hot chocolate or whipped cream for any reason, please let me know! \u00a0We are\u00a0looking for someone to bring in a can of whipped cream for this special treat!!<\/strong><\/p>\n Friday: \u00a0Your child’s first spelling test will be today. \u00a0Please return letter books. \u00a0We will to to gym and the computer lab.<\/p>\n Thanks to everyone who brought in money for the Leader in Me t-shirts! \u00a0The shirts cost $12.00 each. \u00a0There are sample shirts in the office in case you need to know about sizes.<\/p>\n Thanks to everyone who brought in whiteboard markers! \u00a0We are all set for now.<\/p>\n Thanks to everyone who lines up on #4 in the morning. \u00a0When you respect the Lindbergh rules, you are showing your child to respect the Lindbergh rules too.<\/p>\n Have a great week!<\/p>\n Ms. Wright<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Hello Families, I hope you are enjoying the warmer temperatures this weekend!
