{"id":2128,"date":"2015-10-26T14:31:45","date_gmt":"2015-10-26T18:31:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/wrightt1\/?p=2128"},"modified":"2015-10-26T14:31:45","modified_gmt":"2015-10-26T18:31:45","slug":"week-of-october-26-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/wrightt1\/2015\/10\/26\/week-of-october-26-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of October 26, 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families,<\/p>\n<p>This week is going to be busy so here is what you need to know:<\/p>\n<p>Monday: \u00a0Letter books will be sent home. \u00a0We are working on the letter T t.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday: \u00a0Return library books<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday: \u00a0I will be out in the afternoon but will have Mrs. Smith as our guest teacher, she is excellent!<\/p>\n<p>Thursday: \u00a0We will go to music.<\/p>\n<p>Friday: \u00a0We will be celebrating Halloween!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If your child wishes, they may wear his\/her costume to school. \u00a0Please no masks or pretend weapons props.<\/li>\n<li>We will start our Kindergarten Halloween Parade around the school at 9:00 a.m. This is where we parade up and down the hallways so everyone can see our cool costumes. \u00a0Parents are welcome to stay and take pictures.\u00a0The parade lasts about 10 minutes. \u00a0If you can\u2019t make it, we will post plenty of pictures on the blog, so no worries! \u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-smiley\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/wrightt1\/wp-includes\/images\/smilies\/simple-smile.png\" alt=\":)\" \/><\/li>\n<li>After the parade, the kindergartners will go upstairs to watch a Halloween video while parent volunteers transform our classroom into a Halloween Party Headquarters. \u00a0If you can volunteer to help with the party, please leave a comment below.<\/li>\n<li>In the past, the party lasts until 11:15 a.m.<\/li>\n<li>At 11:15 a.m. students will change into their regular school clothes so costumes won\u2019t need to be worn during lunch or recess. \u00a0<strong>Please remember to bring\u00a0a change of clothes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Here is the finalized list of who is bringing what for the party. \u00a0 \u00a0Thanks!<\/p>\n<div>Jack&#8211;24 mini muffins (please no nuts)<\/div>\n<div>Ben&#8211;10 apples<\/div>\n<div>Ali&#8211;24 juice boxes (please send in the day beforehand or sooner)<\/div>\n<div>Ruby&#8211;10 plastic tablecloths ( please send in the day beforehand or sooner)<\/div>\n<div>Ruby&#8211;24 Halloween plates\u00a0\u00a0(please send in the day beforehand or sooner)<\/div>\n<div>Ruby&#8211;24 Halloween napkins (please send in the day beforehand or sooner)<\/div>\n<div>Zach&#8211;1 box of spoons\u00a0&#8211;thanks for already bringing them in<\/div>\n<div>Zach&#8211;30 glow bracelets\u00a0&#8211;thanks for already bringing them in<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>If your child wishes to bring in a wrapped treat for each student for some trick- or -treating fun, that would be great.
