{"id":1946,"date":"2015-09-20T16:36:25","date_gmt":"2015-09-20T20:36:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/wrightt1\/?p=1946"},"modified":"2015-09-20T16:36:25","modified_gmt":"2015-09-20T20:36:25","slug":"week-of-september-28-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/wrightt1\/2015\/09\/20\/week-of-september-28-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of September 28, 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families,<\/p>\n<p>I hope you are enjoying this beautiful day with your family. \u00a0It has been a fun, soccer-filled weekend for me. \u00a0Here is what you need to know.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday: \u00a0We will go to Physical Education with Mr. Murua today, so please make sure your child wear gym shoes. \u00a0We will also go to Art with Mrs. Doman.<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday: \u00a0We will go to Music with Mrs. Baloga.<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday: \u00a0No School<\/li>\n<li>Thursday: \u00a0No School<\/li>\n<li>Friday: \u00a0No School<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lunch boxes: \u00a0Please mark your child&#8217;s name on the <strong>outside<\/strong> of your child&#8217;s lunchbox. \u00a0This really helps us out when passing them back at dismissal time.<\/p>\n<p>Snacks: \u00a0Please make sure to send in a <strong>healthy, nut-free snack<\/strong> for your child each day. \u00a0Some ideas might include: \u00a0cut-up fruit, vegetables, crackers, cheese sticks, yogurt. \u00a0Please no candy, cookies or chips!<\/p>\n<p>Water bottles: \u00a0Your child may bring in their own water bottle from home. \u00a0This way kindergartners\u00a0don&#8217;t need to go out into the hallway for a drink from the drinking fountain. \u00a0Make sure that the water bottle is marked with his\/her name.<\/p>\n<p>Headphones: \u00a0We are encouraging students to have their own set of headphones for the computer lab. \u00a0Please mark your child&#8217;s name on the headphones. \u00a0Place the headphones in a ziplock bag that is also labeled with your child&#8217;s name.<\/p>\n<p>Field Trip: \u00a0We will be going on a field trip in October. \u00a0Once everything is finalized, I will be sending home a note with\u00a0all the\u00a0information as well a permission slip. \u00a0If you would like to be a chaperone for this trip, you must have your background check approved from the office. \u00a0It is an easy process: fill out the necessary paperwork from the office as well as showing your driver&#8217;s license.<\/p>\n<p>Future Dates:<\/p>\n<p>Kindergarten Concert is <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_957426258\"><span class=\"aQJ\">Thursday, March 10th<\/span><\/span> @ <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_957426259\"><span class=\"aQJ\">6:30\u00a0p.m.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0 Students need to report to their classroom @ <span class=\"aBn\" tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_957426260\"><span class=\"aQJ\">6:20<\/span><\/span> wearing nice, dressy clothes. \u00a0If your family is new to Lindbergh, Mrs. Baloga puts an amazing kindergarten concert, you won&#8217;t want to miss it!<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the day!<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Wright<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families, I hope you are enjoying this beautiful day with your family. \u00a0It has been a fun, soccer-filled weekend for me. \u00a0Here is what you need to know.
