First Day of Kindergarten!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families,<\/p>\n<p>We had a great first day today! \u00a0It sure was wonderful to see so many friendly faces this morning!<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few helpful hints for this week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please make sure that your child lines up on the #4 on the south side blacktop. \u00a0Thanks for doing such a fantastic job this morning.<\/li>\n<li>Please say your goodbyes to your child outside. \u00a0Kindergarten is all about being independent!<\/li>\n<li>Dismissal will be at 11:45 a.m. this week.<\/li>\n<li>Please pack a healthy snack for your child.<\/li>\n<li>If your child would like to bring a water bottle to school, that would be fine. \u00a0Please\u00a0mark the bottle with your child&#8217;s name on it.<\/li>\n<li>I will be doing individual screenings on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday this week. \u00a0Each screening takes about 20 minutes. \u00a0I will make sure to bring the sign-up sheet outside at arrival time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Today we read the story,<em> The Gingerbread Man Loose in the School<\/em> by Laura Murray. \u00a0Then we had to look for clues all around the school. \u00a0This was a great way to become more familiar with the school as well as meet \u00a0important people at Lindbergh. \u00a0Ask your child about where we found the clues and what did the Gingerbread Man leave for
