<\/a><\/p>\nI can’t believe that tomorrow is the last day of Kindergarten!! \u00a0Here are a few things you need to know:<\/p>\n

- Please do not have your child bring their backpack to school tomorrow. \u00a0It is a school rule. \u00a0I am not sure I agree with it but\u00a0we follow the school rules in our classroom.<\/li>\n
- Your child’s report card, NWEA test scores, reading scores, and helpful websites will be sent home. \u00a0I am sending each child home with a goodie bag, so everything will be in there.<\/li>\n
- I am sending home directions on how to use the website Moby Max as well. \u00a0Great website to use over the summer. \u00a0Also, your child’s login information to use the Everyday Math website will be included. (A huge apology to Lydia’s mom!! \u00a0Sorry it took me so long\u00a0to \u00a0send it home!!!)<\/li>\n
- Your child will have access to Raz-Kids until next October, so please take advantage of it. \u00a0If your child’s level needs to be changed, email me and I will gladly change it. \u00a0Yes, I do check my email in the summer. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n
- Possible summer field trip: \u00a0U of M-Dearborn pond study. \u00a0I love this free field trip but it has gotten so popular that we couldn’t arrange it\u00a0during the school\u00a0year. \u00a0If I can get a spot, I would love to meet up with you and your child this summer. \u00a0I will post it on the blog, once it is confirmed. \u00a0Siblings 4 years or older would be welcome to join us.<\/li>\n
- Ms. Wright’s Writing Club: \u00a0For the last twenty years I have encouraged students to write me over the summer. \u00a0A great way to practice real writing skills. \u00a0I still have students who are now in high school and college who still write to me each year. \u00a0If your child would like to participate, they need to write to me first. \u00a0If they do, I will write letters to them back\u00a0and even send postcards while on vacation,\u00a0etc. \u00a0It is really fun! \u00a0I will send my address home with them in the goodie bag tomorrow.<\/li>\n
- The white data binders were sent home today. \u00a0I took out the info that next year’s teacher needed. \u00a0However, hang onto the binders\u00a0since they will need a white binder in first grade.<\/li>\n
- To celebrate our kindergarten year, we will be watching our Kindergarten Slideshow at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday. \u00a0If you are free, please join us. \u00a0We are also planning to eat\u00a0Ice Cream Sundaes beforehand at around 10:00 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Lastly, thank you for allowing me the privilege to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year! \u00a0It has been an amazing year.!<\/p>\n
