{"id":1724,"date":"2015-06-01T21:49:43","date_gmt":"2015-06-02T01:49:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/wrightt1\/?p=1724"},"modified":"2015-06-01T21:49:43","modified_gmt":"2015-06-02T01:49:43","slug":"donations-needed-for-a-mission-trip","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/wrightt1\/2015\/06\/01\/donations-needed-for-a-mission-trip\/","title":{"rendered":"Donations Needed for a Mission Trip"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families,<\/p>\n<p>I am posting this on behalf of Wade&#8217;s family. \u00a0Please read below if you are interested in donating supplies for their mission trip. \u00a0Thanks!!<\/p>\n<div><i>In August of this year, my husband and I are going on a mission trip to Quito, Ecuador with our church.\u00a0 In collaboration with Extreme Response Missions, we are going to be working mainly with kids in underprivileged neighborhoods, including an area known as \u201cQuito Dump\u201d (please Google it!). It is estimated that we will impact approximately 500 kids through four different half day Vacation Bible Schools.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\"><i>We are in need of craft supplies such as:\u00a0 Crayola crayons, toothpicks, bracelet rubber bands, construction paper, wiggle eyes, Elmer\u2019s white glue, ribbon, pony beads, charms, bells and buttons with large holes. In addition, we also need monetary donations for other supplies.
