Hello Families,<\/p>\n

Hope you had an enjoyable weekend! \u00a0Here is what you need to know for this week in our kindergarten class:<\/p>\n

Mark your calendar for our first Kindergarten field trip. \u00a0We will be going to the Plymouth Apple Orchard on Wednesday, October 9th! \u00a0Field trip information and permission slips will be sent home in your child’s red folder on Monday.<\/p>\n

Monday: \u00a0Letter books will be sent home. \u00a0We will be studying the letter B b. \u00a0Science Homework #4 will be sent home and due next Monday. \u00a0Words of the Week: \u00a0like \u00a0 we<\/p>\n

Tuesday: \u00a0Happy October! \u00a0Please return your Nightly Reading Homework today! \u00a0We will be having our PBIS reward-popsicle and extra recess for those students who stayed on green 80 percent of the time in September!<\/p>\n

Wednesday: \u00a0Late Start Day! \u00a0School starts one hour later at 9:35 a.m.<\/p>\n

Thursday: \u00a0Mad Science Day! \u00a0Our scientists will begin experimenting at 1:00 p.m. \u00a0If you are interested in helping us, please let me know. \u00a0We are planning to be completed by 1:40 since we have gym at 1:45 p.m.<\/p>\n

Friday: \u00a0Please return letter books!<\/p>\n

Although I am constantly assessing your child during the kindergarten day, I have completed the \u00a0required district testing. \u00a0It will be over Parent\/Teacher conferences where we will discuss your child’s progress and go over \u00a0each assessment. \u00a0Now having a better understanding of where your child is at, I will be seeing your child in small groups for literacy instruction. \u00a0Later this week, your child will begin to bring home a book bag containing materials for he\/she to practice. \u00a0Please make sure that your child returns the bag each school day. \u00a0Thank you for your continued support!<\/p>\n
