Hi Families,<\/p>\n

We were excited to see that Bridget had grown since yesterday. \u00a0Here take a look!<\/p>\n

\"Alligator<\/a><\/p>\n

Our alligator Bridget is now 3 inches long and definitely wider! \u00a0Today your child will be taking home their experiment and science display board. \u00a0If possible, start as soon as you can. \u00a0Have your child decide on the “mystery liquid” (the variable.)<\/p>\n

Your child should also start the “Growing Alligator Planning Guide Sheet.” \u00a0Have your child come up with their Big Question.” \u00a0Your child may write the question on the planning sheet or you may write it down depending on your child’s level. \u00a0But make sure it is their question. \u00a0We did an example in class today. \u00a0Take a look!<\/p>\n

\"Alligator<\/a><\/p>\n

The “I Think Statement” is your child’s hypothesis. \u00a0What do they think will happen and why?<\/p>\n

Your child will also be taking home their science display board. \u00a0Complete directions are in the packet. \u00a0The boards are due Wednesday, May 6th<\/strong>. \u00a0Today in class, I showed them some examples of the completed boards from last year and we talked about each one. \u00a0If possible, take lots of pictures of the alligators during the experiment. \u00a0Here are a couple of examples from last year.<\/p>\n
