Dear Families,<\/p>\n

Look out Ford Motor Company! \u00a0We have future engineers ready to work. \u00a0Yesterday during our Mad Science session we asked the question “Which ball will go down the ramp the fastest?” \u00a0We wrote down our hypotheses in our science notebooks. \u00a0Take a look!<\/p>\n

Next, we tested out our hypotheses! \u00a0We wondered which ball would be fastest? \u00a0The choices were a golf ball, marble, super ball and a ping pong ball. \u00a0After several tests, we found out that the golf ball was fastest down the ramp! \u00a0Scientist Sebby wondered if the golf ball won because of what lane it was in. \u00a0\"IMG_2264\"<\/a><\/p>\n

So we tested each ball in each of the different lanes and the golf ball won each time. \u00a0We realized that it did not matter what lane the golf ball was in, it was still the fastest. \u00a0Many scientists thought it was because the golf ball was “heavier.”<\/p>\n

Next, our scientists made their own ramps out of blocks and tested them out.<\/p>\n
