If you have questions, please ask me and I will seek the answer(s) for you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Dear Students, Teachers and Optimist Friends,<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Optimist Club of Dearborn would like to invite any Dearborn student under the age of 18 as of October 1<sup>st<\/sup> 2016 to participate in our Oratorical Optimist contest.\u00a0 Cash prizes are awarded to the top three (3) boys and the top (3) girls who participate in the contest.\u00a0 The Oratorical Contest gives youngsters the chance to speak on their thoughts of the future.\u00a0 The topic is \u201cWhat the World Gains from Optimism.\u201d\u00a0 Students should contact the assigned teachers for the official contest application submission.\u00a0 The prize money to be awarded for 1<sup>st<\/sup> place will be $500.00, 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place pays $250.00, and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place receives $150.00.\u00a0 The contest is February 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, 2017.\u00a0 We are hosting the event at the Auditorium at the Dearborn Library from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.\u00a0 On March 8th we will award the Prize money at our Optimist luncheon.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Read below for more information about the contest.
