<\/figure><\/li><\/ul>In first grade art, we read the story “Henri’s Scissors” and learned about how Henri Matisse, especially in his older age, had assistants paint paper for him that he could then cut into shapes and “paint” with in a new way. Using the primary colors, we painted a sheet of paper and discovered new secondary colors.
