If you were not able to attend today’s parent meeting, the handouts will come home tomorrow in your child’s folder. \u00a0The presentation was on our Daily 5 literacy model which we use for our literacy instruction. \u00a0The double-sided handout explains the Daily 5. \u00a0We will be introducing this model to the children over the next few weeks. \u00a0Also attached is the emergent cafe strategy menu that your child will be working on as we begin Daily 5 instruction. \u00a0Please practice the listed strategies with your child at home too! \u00a0Once the emergent menu is completed your child will move on to the transitional menu. \u00a0The transitional menu will be sent home at that time.<\/p>\n
