Friday will be a half day for middle school students and dismissal will be at 11:05 am.<\/p>\n<p>In math we will beginning a new unit on Exponents. This unit will only last around a week or so. Our new big question for math will be, &#8220;What are Exponents?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In Social Studies, we are still looking at how natural features and hazards effect humans.<\/p>\n<p>In language arts we are going to have our last set of traditional spelling words and activities. Starting next week we will be beginning our new ELA program <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voyagersopris.com\/curriculum\/subject\/literacy\/language-live\/overview\" target=\"_blank\">Language! Live<\/a>. This blended learning program will be great for our students and I&#8217;m excited to get started!<\/p>\n<p>In Science we are wrapping up the water cycle.
