NWEA: Winter NWEA testing will begin on Tuesday, January 14. Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and breakfast in the morning. We will begin at 9:00. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reminders for the New Year
\nHomework:
\nAll students have book bags and should be reading at least 30 minutes every day. The only way to be a better reader is to read!
\nStudents have math homework every day unless it is written in their planner. For instance, tomorrow we will have a quiz and so the students will not have math homework for the weekend. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Classroom Behavior
\nIn our class, we are reviewing the rules and expectations. This is always necessary after a long break. Several students are having a difficult time adjusting to the routine again and have been extremely off task or completely disruptive. Please speak with your child about the importance of working hard every day. I will be making parent phone calls and scheduling conferences if these behaviors continue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kleenex
\nAt this time, we have no kleenex in the classroom. If you are able please send a box or two for the students to use. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
