There is one form to complete and send back to school tomorrow. I have included the questions to help me get to know your child. Most importantly, please let me know your preferred method of communication. Send the completed paper back as soon as you are able. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am so\nhappy that your child is a fourth grade student in my classroom. I am looking\nforward to a busy, productive and fun school year. The beginning of the year\ncan be stressful for all of us as we learn about each other and create a\npositive learning community. In order to ease some of the worry, I\u2019d like to\nshare some information about myself. Although this is my fourth year at River\nOaks, this is my fifteenth year teaching! I have taught fourth, fifth and sixth\ngrade in the past and am thrilled to be part of the fourth grade team. I have a\nlarge family, three daughters, two step sons and five granddaughters. My dog\nSophie is my favorite pet. When I have free time I enjoy sewing, knitting and\nreading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\nis important that we start the new school year on the right foot. I expect that\nall students will put forth his or her best effort every day by participating\nin class and by completing all in class and homework assignments. In order to\nmake my classrooms the best place for everyone to learn, I will ensure that the\nstudents are safe and are provided with exciting opportunities to explore new\nideas and ask questions. In addition, I need your help! As a team we can help\nand encourage your child to achieve great things.
