Separate them into smaller groups and have your child count how many are in each group.  After counting, you can write the numbers to introduce your child to written numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Number reading<\/strong> &#8211; Grab a piece of paper and fold it into sections (or draw different circles on it).  Write a different number in each section, or in each circle.  Have your child count that number of toys or snacks into each section\/circle. Have your child tell which group has the most\/least.
