I’m very excited about this new year, despite the fact that we are beginning online! I truly look forward to getting to know you, and moving forward on our 8th grade journey together.

Like yourself, I grew up in the Southend and was a Salina student. I attended Salina from KG to 8th grade, and then went on to Fordson High School, so I’ve been a proud Wildcat for a very long time! I attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn where I earned two bachelors degrees and then a Masters degree in Education. That makes me a Wolverine. Go Blue!!!

I’ve been teaching at Salina Intermediate since 2011. My favorite color is blue. I have a son who is 28 years old. I kind of have a pet cat. I feed a feral cat that comes to my house everyday. I named her Princess Wild Kitty.

That’s a little bit about me.
