{"id":3789,"date":"2019-01-28T10:23:34","date_gmt":"2019-01-28T15:23:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/?p=3789"},"modified":"2019-01-28T10:23:34","modified_gmt":"2019-01-28T15:23:34","slug":"snow-day-challenge-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/2019\/01\/28\/snow-day-challenge-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Snow Day Challenge"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p>I posted a quick, fun writing assignment in google classroom.\u00a0 Students can complete this <strong>if they are interested<\/strong> and then \u201cturn in\u201d to me for a prize from the prize box.<\/p>\n<p>The trickiest part will be logging in to google classroom.\u00a0 They can get to google classroom by going to the Dearborn schools page, and then clicking on student resources or by clicking\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dearbornschools.org\/resources\/students\">here<\/a>.\u00a0 You can also try just having them log in to google like you or I would with their email address and password.<\/p>\n<p>Their email address is their <em>student number<\/em>@dearbornschools.org\u00a0 They all have it memorized!<\/p>\n<p>(example:\u00a0 20018432@dearbornschools.org)<\/p>\n<p>Their password is their birthday. (example:\u00a0 08112008)<\/p>\n<p>The classroom code is\u00a0<strong>ie3doc6\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>(just in case you need it!)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you cannot get in to google classroom OR if you would rather have them do it on paper, here is a copy of what it looks like (<a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/603\/2018\/02\/snow-day-challenge.pdf\">snow day challenge<\/a>).\u00a0 You can either print it off or they can just write on lined paper.<\/p>\n<p>The directions were:<\/p>\n<p>Finish the story starter by filling in the first sentence and then adding\u00a0at least\u00a03 details!<\/p>\n<p>Make sure you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use complete sentences<\/li>\n<li>Start sentences with a capital letter<\/li>\n<li>End every sentence with punctuation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I posted a quick, fun writing assignment in google classroom.\u00a0 Students can complete this if they are interested and then \u201cturn in\u201d to me for a prize from the prize box.
