{"id":2493,"date":"2016-12-14T16:05:49","date_gmt":"2016-12-14T21:05:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/?p=2493"},"modified":"2016-12-14T16:05:49","modified_gmt":"2016-12-14T21:05:49","slug":"in-the-news-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/2016\/12\/14\/in-the-news-12\/","title":{"rendered":"In the News&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Scholastic News homework came home today and is due tomorrow.<\/li>\n<li>Math pockets came home today also, but you can keep those until next Tuesday. \u00a0Students can play any game that is in the pocket. \u00a0I know it&#8217;s not a worksheet, but it is\u00a0GOOD PRACTICE!<\/li>\n<li>Late Start: \u00a0Wednesday, December 21st<\/li>\n<li>For Thursday the 22nd, each student should bring in a NEW, wrapped book to exchange with the rest of the class. \u00a0If you cannot get a book, please send me an email &#8211; I ordered a few extra from scholastic just in case \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Friday, Dec. 23rd is our school sing-along. \u00a0The organization\u00a0<em>Children with Hair Loss<\/em> will be here again. \u00a0Any adult or child with at least 8 inches of hair to donate is able\u00a0to participate for\u00a0this great cause. \u00a0The hair will be donated and used to make wigs for sick children &#8211; free of charge to their families. <strong>We already have 2 students in our classroom who are participating \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0If you, your child, or a family member or friend, would like to participate, please let me know so I can forward you all of the information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scholastic News homework came home today and is due tomorrow.
