We accept pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, and even dollars! The classroom that collects the most money will receive a pasta lunch from Olive Garden and the money will be donated to\u00a0the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.<\/li>\n<li>The testing window for social studies snuck up on us. \u00a0We need to take it on Monday. \u00a0Here is the study guide to help you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/603\/2015\/11\/SS-Unit-2-study-guide.pdf\">SS Unit 2 study guide<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0I know Ms. Philips is working on a Jeopardy game so I will post that when it is ready.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are a few websites you can use with your child to help them practice the skills that are tested on the NWEA\/MAP test that is given a few times a year. \u00a0The activities and games are based on the RIT score your child received. \u00a0You can find the RIT score (it is a 3 digit number) on the graph that I shared with you at conferences. \u00a0Once they have mastered those levels, they can challenge themselves by moving into higher RIT bands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/nweapractice\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dearborn NWEA Practice<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a resource that students can use for practice is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.khanacademy.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Khan Academy<\/a>. \u00a0I have a few parents\u00a0<span style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1.5;\">whose students practice on this website daily and they love it!<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">\u00a0Next Tuesday afternoon, we will be enjoying a small Thanksgiving feast together. \u00a0The plan is to make cornbread muffins in the morning and then shake, shake, shake some whipping cream into butter to go along with them. \u00a0We will pair that with a few other simple &#8216;feast&#8217; items, but we need your help. \u00a0Below is a list of items that we need to have our feast on Tuesday. \u00a0If you can help by sending in an item below, please comment on this post so I can plan accordingly.The items we need are:\n<ul>\n<li>5\u00a0boxes of Jiffy Corn Muffin mix<\/li>\n<li>2 pints of heavy whipping cream<\/li>\n<li>23 apples (maybe split this between a few people?)<\/li>\n<li>2 containers of caramel dip<\/li>\n<li>popcorn (already popped please!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The students will go to lunch like every other day. \u00a0This is an afternoon snack \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">There will be no spelling words or new books for reading groups next week.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">THANK YOU to all
