{"id":1483,"date":"2015-10-23T17:57:36","date_gmt":"2015-10-23T21:57:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/?p=1483"},"modified":"2015-10-23T17:57:36","modified_gmt":"2015-10-23T21:57:36","slug":"happy-friday-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/2015\/10\/23\/happy-friday-5\/","title":{"rendered":"HAPPY FRIDAY :)"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Just a reminder that we have a social studies test on Monday. \u00a0The students played Jeopardy yesterday as a review. \u00a0If you would like to play at home, I have uploaded it here. \u00a0It is a powerpoint presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/603\/2015\/10\/Jeopardy-Unit1.pptx\">Jeopardy Unit1<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A unit 2 math test is coming up next week. \u00a0<em>The test will be Wednesday, October 28th<\/em>. \u00a0We have been focusing on story problems and the key words that help us understand if it is addition or subtraction. \u00a0Please use this review to help your child study.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/603\/2015\/10\/Unit-2-Pretest.pdf\">Unit 2 Pretest<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">For Daily 5, one of our rotations is Listen to Reading. \u00a0Some students have been asking if they can have their own pair of headphones\/earbuds. \u00a0I have suggested that they get earbuds &#8211; this way they can put them in a ziploc and keep them in their &#8216;traveling pencil case&#8217;. \u00a0If you prefer regular headphones, that is fine also. \u00a0This is not required of the students &#8211; we have headphones at each computer and ipad already.<\/li>\n<li>Our Halloween party is coming up next Friday, October 30th. \u00a0I have been asked to remind you about sending in your party donation of $3 if you can. \u00a0Students will change into their costumes after lunch &#8211; the simpler the better \ud83d\ude42 \u00a0The parade will be around 1:15, weather permitting. \u00a0Our party will start around 2:00. \u00a0You are welcome to join us if you can!!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a reminder that we have a social studies test on Monday. \u00a0The students played Jeopardy yesterday as a review. \u00a0If you would like to play at home, I have uploaded it here. \u00a0It is a powerpoint presentation.
