{"id":1003,"date":"2014-11-11T16:36:25","date_gmt":"2014-11-11T21:36:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/?p=1003"},"modified":"2014-11-11T16:36:25","modified_gmt":"2014-11-11T21:36:25","slug":"classroom-news-10","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/turkl\/2014\/11\/11\/classroom-news-10\/","title":{"rendered":"Classroom News&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li>Late start tomorrow!!<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t forget our field trip is coming up on Friday. \u00a0If you have any questions, please let me know. \u00a0We will be back in time for lunch \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>Slipper day is Friday. \u00a0Students can donate $1 to wear slippers at school. \u00a0Since that is the same day as our field trip, our class can bring their slippers in their backpack and put them on after lunch recess.<\/li>\n<li>I kept their Unit 2 Math test and their Science test to share at conferences &#8211; just in case you were looking for them \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>I sent home yellow confirmation slips with most students either yesterday or today for their conference time. \u00a0Please return the bottom portion.<\/li>\n<li>The turkeys are AMAZING!!! \u00a0Everyone was so creative! \u00a0Thank you for helping your child disguise their turkey. \u00a0All of the conversations we&#8217;ve had in class sound like they had a great time completing the project. \u00a0You can get a good look at all of them when you&#8217;re here for conferences \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<li>We need play-doh. \u00a0If you are out shopping and think about it, can you grab us a little? \u00a0We use play-doh to practice our spelling words during word work.<\/li>\n<li>We started writing opinions today. \u00a0Everyone had to decide which they liked better &#8211; goldfish or fruit snacks. \u00a0Of course, we had to taste test to make sure we knew what we were talking about \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Late start tomorrow!!
