The students also spent time digging deeper into plot by being introduced to the pyramid of action. Additionally, the class spent time working with vocabulary words and practicing using apostrophes.<\/p>\n<p>This Thursday and Friday will be our first two tests of the school year. \u00a0One Thursday, the students will take their vocabulary test. \u00a0On Friday, the students will be taking their story elements test. \u00a0Components of the test will consist of the pyramid of action, author&#8217;s purpose, point of view, story vocabulary, apostrophes, capitalization, and comprehension questions from <em>The School Play<\/em> and <em>Eleven<\/em>.
