We then used evidence to support our thinking. The students also got their initial responses to this assignment back. \u00a0They edited their work to include evidence and further their explanations. If this was not finished by the end of class, it became homework.<\/p>\n<p>The class also spent time reviewing word work in the classroom. \u00a0We sent up the note sheet for word work in our interactive notebooks. \u00a0They will be given time during Daily 5 for the rest of the week to record these vocabulary words in their interactive notebooks.<\/p>\n<p>Homework:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Read for 20 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Point of View Edited Response Due Tomorrow<\/li>\n<li>All Late Work for First Marking Period Due Friday<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today in Language Arts the students continued to practice their application of point of view to literature from their textbooks. \u00a0We reviewed point of view and identified it in the story, Eleven.
