{"id":931,"date":"2015-09-22T11:16:25","date_gmt":"2015-09-22T15:16:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/?p=931"},"modified":"2015-09-22T11:16:25","modified_gmt":"2015-09-22T15:16:25","slug":"tuesday-september-22-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/2015\/09\/22\/tuesday-september-22-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday, September 22, 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Language Arts today the students reviewed the job of a student and the job of a teacher during read to self, work on writing, and word work. \u00a0These are the three main components of Daily 5 that will be focused on in our class. \u00a0Listen to reading and read to someone will take place sporadically throughout the school year.<\/p>\n<p>During work on writing time, the students focused on responding to their summer reading homework. \u00a0They were given the choice between summarizing a book they read or giving a quote from their favorite moment in the book and explaining that quote.
