In Language Arts today and tomorrow the students will be working on a reflection of their progress in terms of comprehension, vocabulary, and writing. \u00a0This will be done using the portfolios that I have kept for them this year. All of these materials will go home with the students tomorrow as a reminder of the progress they have made and strategies they can use over the summer to help prepare them for seventh grade.<\/p>\n
Wednesday will be our trip to Levagood. \u00a0The students will being the school day as normal and head over to the pool in the later part of the morning. The students in my class will be going with an eighth grade teacher or one of the other teachers on our team because I will be attending the Cedar Point trip with the eighth graders.<\/p>\n
At this point, I have grades completely up to date. \u00a0They will not be changing much from this point forward. \u00a0I am going to be giving formative points for the completion of the reflection but that should not affect grades too much.<\/p>\n
