{"id":646,"date":"2015-02-10T20:22:53","date_gmt":"2015-02-11T01:22:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/?p=646"},"modified":"2015-02-10T20:22:53","modified_gmt":"2015-02-11T01:22:53","slug":"tuesday-february-10-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/2015\/02\/10\/tuesday-february-10-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday, February 10, 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today in Language Arts the students reviewed the requirements for a compare and contrast essay. \u00a0We looked at a example of a poorly written essay and what would need to be done to improve it. \u00a0The students specifically looked at how to write the first two body paragraphs of their essay. \u00a0This focuses on two ways Jonas changes after becoming The Receiver of Memory with evidence from the text that supports their thinking. \u00a0We worked on a sample essay as a class and then the students were given time to work independently.<\/p>\n<p>At this point, all grades are up to date. \u00a0I have graded everything I have been given. \u00a0If you feel something is incorrect, please email me. \u00a0I will be sending home progress reports for the fourth marking period on Friday. Remember, your child will only be bringing one home if they have a 72.9% or lower in my class.<\/p>\n<p>Have a great evening!
