In Language Arts today the students reviewed conflict. \u00a0We also used our knowledge of conflict to identify various problems in The Giver<\/em>. \u00a0The students will be using these problems to create a fake instagram post. \u00a0They are working on a rough draft of this post over the weekend. \u00a0They are required to finish the rough draft and find two school appropriate pictures to use on their final drafts Monday. \u00a0I will provide them with final draft paper at that time. \u00a0This is not<\/strong> an actual instagram post and students will not<\/strong> be required to post anything to actual instagram accounts. \u00a0We are simply using the instagram format\/layout to create our final projects. \u00a0I have added a copy of the rough draft to this blog post as well as the example.<\/p>\n

The students were also given time to work with the new vocabulary words on our word wall. \u00a0I have added pictures of the new word wall to this blog post.<\/p>\n
