{"id":612,"date":"2015-01-15T13:09:24","date_gmt":"2015-01-15T18:09:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/?p=612"},"modified":"2015-01-15T13:09:24","modified_gmt":"2015-01-15T18:09:24","slug":"thursday-january-15-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/2015\/01\/15\/thursday-january-15-2015\/","title":{"rendered":"Thursday, January 15, 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In Language Arts today, the students reviewed the last events in the rising action of <em>The Giver<\/em>. \u00a0I have attached the guided questions to this blog post. \u00a0The students also listened to reading for the climax of <em>The Giver<\/em>. \u00a0We discussed how the author, Lois Lowry, used the story device, building suspense, to intensify the climax of the story. \u00a0The students were also given the results of their vocabulary test. \u00a0Test retakes will be Tuesday, January 20th at 7:15am and Thursday, January 22nd at the end of the half day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Homework:<\/p>\n<p>1. Guided Questions<\/p>\n<p>2. Finish Reading Chapter 20<\/p>\n<p>3. All late work for 3rd marking due tomorrow<\/p>\n<p>4.
