I was out of the building today at a training session. \u00a0The note left by the substitute informed me that all of my classes were well behaved. \u00a0To my students, THANK YOU! Due to the behavior of my classes today, I will be giving students more time in class tomorrow while we continue to work with our informational text.<\/p>\n
Today we focused on Close and Critical reading with an informational text. \u00a0We discussed how to talk to the text with a partner, how to create a summary, what the author’s craft is, what they learned from the text, and how to make a connection to it. \u00a0We will continue to work on this idea tomorrow.<\/p>\n
The verb worksheets from our mini lesson were due today. \u00a0If you did not turn yours in, please make sure to do so tomorrow. \u00a0This is also a reminder that I will be checking journals tomorrow. \u00a0Please make sure you have yours completed.<\/p>\n
