{"id":509,"date":"2014-11-18T14:47:56","date_gmt":"2014-11-18T19:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/?p=509"},"modified":"2014-11-18T14:47:56","modified_gmt":"2014-11-18T19:47:56","slug":"tuesday-november-18-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/2014\/11\/18\/tuesday-november-18-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday, November 18, 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today in Language Arts the students focused on argumentative writing. \u00a0We began to discuss whether or not video games are appropriate for children. \u00a0Some believe this causes us to have better hand-eye coordination and comprehension skills while others believe video games are too violent. \u00a0We will be reading articles and identifying facts tomorrow. \u00a0Today the students hovered for words they did not know in the articles. \u00a0We will be working on building a word wall tomorrow too.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to learning about argumentative writing, the students were taken to the library today. \u00a0From this point forward, the students are allowed to check out multiple books at a time. \u00a0However, they are responsible for making sure they all get returned on time.<\/p>\n<p>Homework:<\/p>\n<p>1.
