Today in Language Arts the students continued to learn about conflict. \u00a0We learned that we can be more specific when identifying external conflicts by trying to figure out which type it is. \u00a0I have included the powerpoint we took notes on to this blog post.<\/p>\n
At this point, all of the vocabulary books that were purchased have been distributed to the students. \u00a0A majority of the work with these books will be done in class. \u00a0The students are responsible for bringing them to class every day. \u00a0We will be working on the activities in this book that correspond to lesson one. \u00a0All activities are expected to be completed by next Friday. \u00a0When the students feel that they are prepared to take a quiz on the words, they will be able to notify me of this. \u00a0They are able to do this at any point during the next two weeks. \u00a0Until next Friday, these will be the ten words that we are focusing on in class.<\/p>\n
We are half way through the second marking period and all progress reports went home today. \u00a0If your child has a C- or lower in LA, I have sent a report home with them today. \u00a0Please ask your child about it. \u00a0You may also check Parent Connect if you are curious as to what your child’s grade is but they did not bring a progress report home. \u00a0I do not need these reports to be returned to me.<\/p>\n
