We also determined why the author would write this story, the point of view, and genre of the story. \u00a0Once we were done looking at the story, we played a game to help us review for our vocabulary test.<\/p>\n<p>Tonight is the last night for conferences. \u00a0Our team of teachers will be meeting in Mrs. Cosenza&#8217;s Classroom. \u00a0We will be in her room from 3:30 until 6:30. \u00a0Today is also the first day students are able to retake the figurative language quiz. \u00a0I will be offering the retake today at 3:30. \u00a0Our other scheduled date is tomorrow morning at 7:20.<\/p>\n<p>Homework: Read for 20 minutes, study for the vocabulary quiz on Thursday, and make a connection to <em>All Summer in a Day.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Have a great evening!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Language Arts today the students reviewed the pyramid of action. \u00a0We discussed what each part means and applied this to the story we read yesterday, All Summer in a Day.
