{"id":450,"date":"2014-10-23T15:24:55","date_gmt":"2014-10-23T19:24:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/?p=450"},"modified":"2014-10-23T15:24:55","modified_gmt":"2014-10-23T19:24:55","slug":"thursday-october-23-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/2014\/10\/23\/thursday-october-23-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Thursday, October 23, 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our class took our Figurative Language Quiz today. \u00a0I have already graded and posted the scores for second and third hour. \u00a0I have been impressed with what I have seen so far! \u00a0It was very obvious to me which students studied and which students chose not to. \u00a0I am hoping to have fourth hours grades posted late this evening. \u00a0This will not be done until closer to 11pm. \u00a0Please do not ask me about it before them. \u00a0It is senior night for the Varsity Swim Team at Carlson and since I am the coach, I will not be getting to them until later.<\/p>\n<p>With our remaining class time, the students learned how to be more specific when classifying fiction genres. \u00a0The genres we focused on today are fantasy, mystery, realistic fiction, science fiction, and historical fiction.
