They were also given time for SSR. After SSR, they wrote in their notebooks. I collected and graded notebooks for their February logs. Grades have been updated to reflect their scores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The students continued to practice organizing an essay by sorting one they have not seen before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the remainder of class time, students took their poetry quiz. I have updated their grades to reflect their score on this too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who finished their poetry quiz with time to spare were given time to work on NewsELA.
