If they had money, they were allowed to buy books. The book fair will be open during conferences as well as each school day this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the remainder of class time, the students explored the vocabulary in a story we will be reading later this week, &#8220;Tuesdays of the Other June&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tonight conferences are being held from 4:00 to 7:00. Please try your best to arrive no later than 6:45. Otherwise, teachers may not have the time to meet with you before 7:00. Our conferences are student-led. The students have been working hard to reflect on their learning thus far in middle school and prepare what they have learned for you. Teachers will not discuss class work with parents until the students have presented their conference information first. Ms. Taha and I will be holding conferences together in her classroom, room 41. Please keep in mind that we do not schedule conference times. We also have 84 students so there may be a bit of a wait to meet with teachers. Additionally, I am the coach of the swim team at Bryant. The swim team has practice until 4:30 which means I will not be available to speak with families until after that time.
