They practiced identifying them with a partner as well as combining sentences using conjunctions.<\/p>\n<p>The students also continued to practice analyzing a poem by reading &#8220;Message from a Caterpillar&#8221;. We also discussed the theme of the poem.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, the students were asked to read the short story, Ant and Grasshopper. Afterwards, they needed to write a CER on the theme of the story. If this was not completed by the end of class, it was assigned as homework.<\/p>\n<p>Have a great evening! Don&#8217;t forget tomorrow is our first Spirit Friday to prepare for Spirit Week! Everyone needs to wear football clothing.
