In Language Arts today the students were given the opportunity to use their brainstorming sheet from yesterday to create the rough draft of a poem.\u00a0 If they did not finish, it was assigned as homework. If the rough draft was completed, it was filed in the students’ writing folders.<\/p>\n

The students also continued to learn about figurative language. We focused on alliteration and symbolism. I have included the example videos to this blog post.<\/p>\n

Lastly, the students practiced identifying descriptive adjectives as well as using the articles “a” and “an” in example sentences.<\/p>\n

One week from tomorrow is the end of the marking period. That means all late work for 2nd Marking is due tomorrow. Read Theory, One-Pager Number Three, and One-Pager Number Four are also due tomorrow.<\/p>\n
