Today we discussed ideas, organization, and voice.<\/p>\n<p>The students also began writing their first essay of the year.\u00a0 We will be writing an argumentative essay.\u00a0 The students were given the choice between four topics based on CERs they have written in class. We began planning out our body paragraphs today.\u00a0 If students did not finish planning the body paragraphs, this was assigned as homework. For extra credit, the students can add more than one piece of evidence per body paragraph.
