Today in Language Arts the students continued to learn about the history behind The Prince and the Pauper.\u00a0 We discussed the author of the story, Mark Twain, as well as other works he is known for.\u00a0 We also discussed the major characters in the story.\u00a0 Based on our discussion, we were able to determine that the genre of this story is historical fiction.\u00a0 We will be digging deeper into this idea tomorrow.<\/p>\n

The students also continued to learn about their Greek and Latin roots by learning about the root “geo”.<\/p>\n
